Looking for Staff...?

Mainstream Schools

We like to find out all we can about the schools we work with. As we only deal with Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and West Sussex schools we can give you a personal service that a national company just can't manage.

We like to get to know our clients, we'll call you up for a chat and if you have the time we'll come out to meet you - after all we need to know all the details if we are to supply you the best people.

Primary Schools

An Admin or Finance Managers work is never done! We are aware you are the ones who hold the school together and you are often the ones that the Head calls upon to help in times of staff absence.

Whether it's a KS1, KS2 or Early Years trained teacher you require, our Primary teachers range from specializing in Nursery and Reception, right through to Year 6, and all of them with QTS so will have the experience needed to make sure your pupils don't miss out when their usual teacher is not available.

Our teachers are all up to date with the Numeracy and Literacy framework and are available for short term PPA cover or longer term maternity and sickness cover. We do our best to provide you with familiar faces to ensure your pupils have the continuity they need to help develop their confidence to continue as life long learners.

Our Primary teachers will bring work for the day if required, but will usually expect to follow the planning left by the normal class teacher. They are all asked to mark the work at the end of the day and leave the classroom neat and tidy.

We also provide experienced Teaching Assistants who often have additional skills in working with pupils with Special Educational needs if required. And don't forget that if your school has a nursery attached we can also provide qualified nursery nurses.

Secondary Schools

As the pupils get older (and generally taller than most of the teachers) a certain type of person is needed to hold their interest and gain their respect, especially for the odd day supply cover.

We can supply Key Stage 3 and 4 teachers, each specializing in one of the national curriculum subjects, some are also experienced in working with sixth form students. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for all of our secondary teachers.

Our teachers use creativity, humour and imagination to develop schemes of work and to plan lessons where required in order to foster a healthy culture of learning within the classroom and to generate the most effective interactions with pupils. We encourage all of our teachers to keep up to date with the latest developments in their subject area.

We can also supply Learning Support Assistants (LSA's) who can work on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils or give whole class support, they are often skilled at working with pupils who have special educational needs - particularly useful for your learning difficulties or behaviour unit.

Every candidate that we register and send out to work is subjected to a rigourous registration procedure and we won't let them work until they have passed - even if they beg and plead! When we book a candidate into your school you'll have access to their file through our fantastic interactive website, so you can see their CV, when the checks were carried out, what they look like and even what they had for breakfast that day (maybe not the last one, but we're working on it - after all it is the most important meal of the day.) So why not try us out and let our experienced consultants prove they can find an ideal candidate quicker than anyone else.
