Salary: £126.34 to £152.74 /day

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an inspiring teacher to come and teach Science at a mixed secondary school in the Petersfield / Waterlooville area.

It is essential that candidates have the following attributes:

  • Have the ability to teach at least one Science subject from Year 7 upwards
  • Be passionate about their subject areas and a good role model to students
  • Be comfortable teaching in Key Stage 5 if required
  • Be innovative and have a strong classroom presence
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team of specialist teachers

Planning and marking will be required and the School are happy to accept applications from NQT’s and more experienced teachers.

You will be joining a hard-working and progressive department who are looking for a dedicated subject specialist.

The School would welcome applications from Biology, Physics and Chemistry specialists.

The school is commutable from Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville, Horndean and Petersfield.

Paid to scale £126.34 – £152.74 per day (If qualified)

The School will support the appointed teacher through an excellent Head Teacher and a strong leadership team, therefore the right candidate will be given all of the tools to succeed in an exciting teaching environment.

You will be required to provide us with 3 references, 2 of these being teaching or childcare related. If you do not have a DBS on the Update Service, then we can apply for another at a subsidised cost of £22.
