Passionate Primary Teachers play a crucial role in every child’s education journey. Whether you are an experienced Teacher, or if you have just qualified, we would love to hear from you. We have a vast number of full and part-time supply vacancies in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

We have also seen an increased demand for supply Primary Teaching Assistants.  Ideally you will have experience of working with primary ages, or young people who can present challenging behaviours, but we will consider all experiences as long as you are keen to work with this age range and can show flexibility in your work.  Our supply roles suit a wide variety of candidates based on their preferences and experience.

Our Primary Division is our most successful.  Since we started in 2009 we have developed incredibly strong relationships with hundreds of schools across Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth, West Sussex and Dorset and we would love the opportunity to introduce you to them.

Our vacancies include fixed-term and permanent contracts, both long-term and short-term supply work, offering full and part-time hours to suit you.

What to expect with our primary teaching jobs

Thanks to our online portal giving you the control of your working week, our primary teacher jobs and Primary teaching assistant jobs can suit your work requirements.  We promise that you will be kept busy by offering you a variety of assignments.  As a primary teaching assistant, you might be asked to support whole-class learning or do small group and 1:1 work.

Marking is always required for our teachers and tidying the classroom.  We always recommend leaving feedback notes for the class teacher, too.  It isn’t unusual to be asked to cover two bookings in one day – one school in the morning and another in the afternoon.  We work around you, so make sure you tell us what you like, and we will find the best vacancy to suit you.

Most importantly, our team listen; if you enjoy working in our schools, tell us, and we will set them as a preferred school, so you can be shortlisted when they make future bookings. It really is that simple.

We offer all our candidates’ extremely competitive rates of pay and run our own in-house PAYE payroll as a free service. This helps when you need to submit your PAYE and National Insurance Data to the HMRC whilst ensuring that you’re compliant with all the latest HMRC regulations.

Each supply guide has been created to provide you with all the essential information that you’ll need before and during a placement. Each guide will include the relevant contact information and data about the School or Nursery you’ll be working with.
